Role Description The Senior Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer is a full time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying ML and AI solutions that address complex business challenges across Zenith’s client portfolio. This role involves building production-grade ML pipelines, training and evaluating models, and integrating AI services into existing applications and cloud environments. The engineer will collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, product managers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure models are secure, scalable, and maintainable.

Day-to-day activities include data exploration and preprocessing, feature engineering, model optimization, code review, documentation,



and ongoing monitoring and improvement of deployed models. The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to solution architecture, and staying current with emerging AI/ML tools and frameworks to enhance Zenith’s offerings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in machine learning model development, including experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
- Candidates should possess solid programming and software engineering skills, ideally in languages such as Python or Java, along with experience in building, testing, and maintaining production-quality code.
- Candidates should possess experience with AI and data frameworks and tools, such as common ML libraries, data processing frameworks, and workflow orchestration tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of cloud platforms and related services used to build and deploy AI/ML solutions, with familiarity in CI/CD practices and containerization.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and remote teams.
- Relevant experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or telecom domains is beneficial, including applying AI/ML to use cases such as risk modeling, customer analytics, or process automation.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
