Role Description The Senior Analyst Manufacturing Engineering role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role oversees manufacturing processes, production lines, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

The Senior

Analyst is responsible for analyzing process performance data, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing engineering solutions that enhance quality, throughput, and compliance with industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating process documentation, supporting new product introductions, collaborating with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.



The role also involves coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize materials, tooling, and workflows while aligning with Danfoss Power Solutions’ global manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering, supported by a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in manufacturing process analysis, line balancing, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
- Experience with production equipment, tooling, and fixtures, including process validation, capability studies, and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues.
- Skills in quality management practices, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to support product and process changes.
- Strong data analysis and documentation skills using standard engineering and office software tools to prepare reports, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration on the shop floor and across departments in a multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment within automotive, hydraulics, mobile machinery, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Pune Division and actively participate in hands-on problem-solving and process improvement activities.
