About the Role

Indian Electricals is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have solid practical experience in accounting, taxation, reconciliations, banking, and financial documentation, along with hands-on knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting entries and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, and ledger management.
- Maintain customer and vendor ledgers and complete regular reconciliations.
- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, payment records, and other financial documents.
- Handle bank reconciliation and resolve outstanding differences.
- Manage GST, TDS/TCS, and other taxation-related accounting activities.
- Verify purchase invoices against POs, GRNs, and supporting documents.
- Prepare payment schedules and monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and accounting records.
- Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, consultants, and management for accounting-related matters.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely completion of accounting and statutory requirements.

Requirements





- Minimum 5 years of practical accounting experience.
- Strong experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, ledger management, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime/Tally ERP.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax-related activities.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently handle accounting activities and resolve discrepancies.
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in electrical, trading, distribution, or B2B businesses is an added advantage.
- Strong confidentiality and numerical accuracy
