As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role across multiple areas of engineering including backend development, cloud infrastructure, AI operations, distributed systems, and production deployments. While the role has a strong backend focus, the environment requires engineers who are comfortable contributing across the stack and solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced startup setup.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
- Build cloud-native applications using Python or Golang
- Work on infrastructure supporting AI operations and distributed systems
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for high-performance applications
- Collaborate with frontend, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver production-ready solutions
- Improve scalability, reliability, and system performance across services
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage large-scale data efficiently
- Contribute to production deployments, debugging, monitoring, and operational improvements
- Support DevOps initiatives including CI/CD automation and cloud infrastructure enhancements
- Continuously improve engineering standards, code quality, and architecture

Technical Requirements

Core Skills

- 1–2 years of strong software engineering experience




- Robust proficiency in Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask) or Golang
- Solid understanding of backend development and API architecture
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases
- Familiarity with React or frontend technologies is a plus
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and software engineering fundamentals

Infrastructure & Cloud

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure environments
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture

Nice to Have

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or asynchronous processing systems
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or model deployment workflows
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures
- Understanding of backend security best practices
- Open-source contributions or strong side projects
