Quality Engineer Project Role : Quality Engineer Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration.
Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Responsibilities: -Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning for BCM application development teams. -Work closely with Product Owners, developers, testers, architects, and customer stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of scope, priorities, dependencies, and sprint goals. -Support creation, refinement, estimation,
and prioritization of user stories, tasks, defects, and technical backlog items in collaboration with the team. -Track sprint progress, manage risks, remove impediments, and drive timely resolution of blockers impacting delivery commitments. -Coach the Scrum team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, self-organization, continuous improvement, and delivery discipline. -Ensure transparency through Agile metrics such as sprint burndown, velocity, defect trends, committed vs. completed scope, and release readiness. -Coordinate with cross-functional automotive software teams including requirements, development, integration, validation, diagnostics, and release management teams. -Drive adherence to engineering processes, quality expectations, configuration management practices, and customer-specific delivery governance. -Participate in internal, customer, supplier, and OEM meetings to provide delivery status, issue updates, risk mitigation plans, and dependency tracking. -Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity, predictability, quality, and Agile maturity. Professional & Technical Skills: -Overall 7 to 10 years of experience in software development,
embedded software delivery, project coordination, or Agile delivery management. -Robust working experience as Scrum Master, Agile Lead, Project Lead, or Delivery Coordinator in software development programs. -Good understanding of Agile Scrum framework, sprint execution, backlog management, estimation techniques, and Agile metrics. -Experience working with automotive embedded software development teams, preferably in BCM, body electronics, vehicle applications, ECU software, or related domains. -Familiarity with automotive software development lifecycle, requirement analysis, software design, integration, validation, defect management, and release processes. -Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Polarion, DOORS, or equivalent Agile and requirements management tools. -Experience in coordinating with distributed teams across offshore, onsite, customer, supplier, and OEM environments. -Understanding of ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, diagnostics, CAN/LIN communication, configuration management, and software quality processes will be an added advantage. -Ability to track delivery dependencies, manage risks, monitor action items, and support governance reporting for project stakeholders. -Good knowledge of CI/CD, version control tools such as Git/SVN, and software delivery practices is desirable.
Additional Information: -Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or any related stream.
