About the Role

Monk Media is looking for a creative Instagram Reel Script Writer who understands how to create content that grabs attention and drives engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience writing short-form content for founders, business owners, coaches, and personal brands, and understands what works on Instagram today.

Responsibilities

- Write engaging, high-retention Instagram Reel scripts.
- Create compelling hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.
- Write content aligned with each client’s personal brand and communication style.
- Research industry trends, audience pain points, and content opportunities.
- Collaborate with the content strategy team to turn ideas into high-performing scripts.
- Use AI tools to enhance research and efficiency, while ensuring scripts remain original, strategic,



and human-written.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience writing Instagram Reel or short-form video scripts.
- Strong understanding of personal branding on Instagram.
- Experience working with founders, entrepreneurs, business owners, or coaches.
- Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills.
- Strong understanding of hooks, retention strategies, and viral content frameworks.
- Comfortable using AI as a productivity tool without relying on it to generate complete scripts.
- A portfolio showcasing Instagram or personal branding content is mandatory.

Preferred

- Experience contributing to the growth of Instagram personal brands.
- Understanding of Instagram trends, audience psychology, and platform best practices.
- Ability to adapt writing style based on different niches and creator personalities.
