Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Script Writer role based in Noida. The Script Writer will be responsible for creating long-form YouTube scripts, documentary-style content, finance and business stories, Instagram/Reel scripts, and social media content for a diverse range of clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong research and storytelling abilities, a good understanding of finance and business, and the flexibility to write for different niches such as career, astrology, education, finance, business, lifestyle, personal development, and more.

The role requires someone who can switch between deep, research-driven YouTube storytelling and short, high-retention social media scripts while adapting tone, language, and storytelling style according to the client and platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Write long-form YouTube scripts for finance, business, documentary, educational, and informational content.
- Develop documentary-style scripts with strong hooks, storytelling, narrative flow, pacing, and engaging conclusions.
- Research topics thoroughly and ensure scripts are factually accurate and backed by credible sources.
- Write Instagram/Reel scripts designed for strong hooks, retention, engagement, and shareability.




- Create short-form scripts for SMM clients across different niches, including:
- Career & Jobs
- Astrology & Spirituality
- Finance & Investing
- Education
- Business & Entrepreneurship
- Personal Development
- Lifestyle
- Technology
- And other client-specific niches
- Understand the difference between YouTube long-form storytelling and short-form Reel content and adapt scripts accordingly.
- Create powerful hooks within the first few seconds of a Reel to capture audience attention.
- Convert complex topics into simple, conversational, and easy-to-understand content.
- Develop content ideas and angles based on trends, audience interests, current events, and client objectives.
- Collaborate with the social media, creative, research, and video editing teams.
- Rewrite and improve scripts based on client and internal feedback.
- Maintain consistency with different client brand voices, tones, and content strategies.
- Handle multiple scripts and deadlines simultaneously.

Qualifications

- Strong scriptwriting, storytelling, and research skills.
- Good knowledge of finance, business, economics, investing, and financial markets.




- Experience or strong interest in writing documentary-style and long-form YouTube scripts.
- Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, audience retention, hooks, pacing, and narrative structure.
- Strong understanding of Instagram/Reels content and short-form storytelling.
- Ability to write engaging scripts for different audiences and niches.
- Excellent research and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to simplify complicated subjects without losing accuracy.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Hindi/Hinglish will be an advantage.
- Ability to adapt writing style according to different brands, creators, and industries.
- Strong creativity, curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to take feedback positively and improve scripts accordingly.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same time.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a writer who is not limited to one content format. You should be equally comfortable writing a 20-minute finance documentary for YouTube and a 45-second career or astrology Reel.

You should understand that positive digital content is not just about writing information—it is about finding the right hook, creating curiosity, maintaining attention, and delivering information through a compelling story.

Candidates with previous experience in YouTube channels, digital media agencies, social media management, finance content, documentary writing, or Reel scripting will be preferred.
