Position Title: Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant / SAP PP-QM Lead

Experience Required: Minimum 12+ Years of Relevant SAP PP/QM Experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant with 12+ years of expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge in manufacturing processes, production planning, quality inspection, process optimization, and SAP S/4HANA implementations. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP PP/QM solutions aligned with business and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP PP/QM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

Gather and analyze business requirements related to production planning and quality management.

Configure and support SAP PP functionalities including:

Demand Management

Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

Production Orders

Bill of Materials (BOM)

Work Centers & Routing

Capacity Planning

Shop Floor Control

Configure and support SAP QM processes including:

Quality Planning

Quality Inspection

Inspection Lots

Quality Notifications

Vendor Quality Management

Audit Management

Integrate SAP PP/QM with SAP MM, SD, PM, WM/EWM, and FI modules.

Support SAP S/4HANA migration and digital manufacturing initiatives.

Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements.

Conduct SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.

Provide post-production support and resolve critical issues within SLA timelines.





Develop process documentation, training materials, and conduct end-user training sessions.

Mentor junior consultants and support project governance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

12+ years of hands-on SAP PP/QM functional consulting experience.

Minimum 2–3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

Strong expertise in manufacturing and quality management business processes.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP/QM functionalities and best practices.

Strong knowledge of MRP, production execution, quality inspection, and batch management.

Experience integrating SAP PP/QM with MM, SD, PM, and WM/EWM modules.

Understanding of manufacturing industry standards and quality compliance processes.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently in global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP PP and/or SAP QM certification preferred.

Experience with SAP MES, SAP Digital Manufacturing, or SAP IBP is an added advantage.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum project methodologies.

Domain experience in manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or FMCG industries preferred.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

MBA / PGDM is an added advantage.
