SAP Senior Technical Security Authorisation Consultant

Purpose A senior handson SAP Security Authorisation Consultant embedded within the SSP SAP Continuous Improvement Programme responsible for delivering endtoend SAP Security solutions across a complex SAP landscape through 3week Agile sprint cycles

Role Description

Own the endtoend delivery of SAP Security Authorisation activities for approved Change Requests from impact assessment and solution design through configuration testing Production Release and Hypercare

Provide technical leadership and expert guidance on SAP Security Authorisation and SAP Fiori security across SAP S4HANA MM FI FIWM SD CAR and custom ABAP solutions

Work collaboratively with SAP Functional Consultants Fiori ABAP Developers Basis Business Users and Global Process Owners GPOs to deliver secure compliant and businessready SAP solutions

Apply strong analytical and problemsolving skills to investigate complex authorisation issues recommend practical solutions and minimise business disruption

Operate as an integral member of the Agile delivery team maintaining delivery progress technical documentation and Change Request status within Azure DevOps

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery

Analyse approved Change Requests and assess Security Authorisation impacts

Participate in solution design workshops and contribute to technical solutioning





Design configure and maintain SAP Roles Authorisations SAP Fiori Security and organisational access controls

Configure and troubleshoot SAP Security using PFCG SU24 SU21 SU53 SUIM STAUTHTRACE and related SAP Security tools

Support custom ABAP developments by advising on authorisation concepts and security requirements

Testing Release Hypercare

Support Unit Testing UT System Integration Testing SIT and User Acceptance Testing UAT resolving security defects and authorisation issues

Support Production Releases deployments and Hypercare ensuring rapid resolution of production security incidents

Ensure all delivered solutions comply with Security Standards Segregation of Duties SoD audit controls and SAP Best Practices

Stakeholder Delivery Management

Build strong working relationships with Functional Consultants Business Users GPOs Technical Teams and Delivery Managers

Communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Proactively manage competing priorities within 3week sprint cycles providing regular updates through Azure DevOps

Demonstrate solid analytical thinking attention to detail and problem solving skills to deliver high quality business focused outcomes

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise SAP Security processes role design and delivery practices
