Role Description The SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Developer will design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions that support key business processes and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and optimizing ABAP code, creating and modifying custom reports, forms, and interfaces, and integrating SAP modules using IDoc and BAPI technologies.

The role involves collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders, analyzing requirements, troubleshooting system issues,



and performing unit testing and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Connaught Place, where the developer will contribute to ongoing projects, enhancements, and performance improvements within the SAP landscape.

Qualifications

- Solid programming foundation, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and core Programming skills relevant to enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), including custom development, enhancements, and performance tuning.
- Practical knowledge of SAP integration tools such as IDoc and BAPI for building and maintaining interfaces between SAP and external systems.
- Understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD) and business processes, with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and documenting SAP developments; familiarity with SAP best practices and coding standards.
- Exposure to SAP upgrade projects, migrations, or AMS support is an advantage; certification in SAP or related technologies is a plus.
