About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development to join our SAP team in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP/ABAP OO, RICEF developments, Enhancements, Interfaces, Forms, Reports, and SAP integrations. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and HANA-based development will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, test, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP OO.
- Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF) and custom SAP solutions.
- Work on ALV Reports, Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, and OO ALV.
- Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
- Work with BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Function Modules, and Web Services.
- Implement User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
- Handle Module Pool and Dialog Programming.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing ABAP programs.
- Collaborate with functional consultants across MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, HR, and other SAP modules.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, bug fixing, and technical issue resolution.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and test cases.
- Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
- Strong knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO




- Strong experience in RICEF Objects
- Expertise in Reports Classical, Interactive, ALV, and OO ALV
- Strong knowledge of Data Dictionary (DDIC) Tables, Structures, Views, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps, and Indexes
- Experience with Enhancements, User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs
- Hands-on experience with BAPI, RFC, IDOC, and Function Modules
- Experience in SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms
- Knowledge of Module Pool / Dialog Programming
- Good understanding of SAP integration and technical interfaces
- Experience in production support, debugging, and performance tuning
- Good understanding of SAP development lifecycle and transport management

Valuable to Have

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
- Knowledge of SAP HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP
- Experience with OData and SAP Fiori integration
- Exposure to S/4HANA migration or implementation projects
- Knowledge of SAP Workflow
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- SAP ABAP certification will be an added advantage
