Role Description The Sample Receiving Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role involves receiving and verifying patient samples against test requisitions, ensuring correct labeling, barcoding, and documentation before processing. The executive is responsible for maintaining sample integrity by following proper handling, storage, and transport protocols, and promptly routing samples to the appropriate laboratory sections.

The role includes updating the laboratory information system, managing daily logs,



and coordinating with collection staff and couriers for timely sample receipt.

The Sample Receiving

Executive also supports quality and safety standards, assists in inventory of consumables related to sample handling, and communicates clearly with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

- Foundational laboratory operations skills, including sample handling, labeling, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and maintenance of sample records in laboratory information systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with phlebotomists, lab technicians, and administrative staff.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with medical or diagnostic software systems is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace with time-sensitive tasks and maintain high standards of reliability.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic lab, hospital lab, or similar healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: diploma or degree in medical laboratory technology, life sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Commitment to ethical practices, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning in diagnostic procedures.
