Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)Backend Engineer

Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) DevOps Backend Engineer to own both the server-side business logic of our commerce platform and the CI/CD, release, and setting management that keeps it running smoothly. This role blends hands-on SFCC backend development (controllers, jobs, services, integrations) with DevOps ownership of deployments, sandboxes, and monitoring.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (Demandware)

Strong backend development skills in JavaScript (server-side) and/or Java within the SFCC ecosystem





Experience with SFCC Service Framework, OCAPI/SCAPI, and custom job/pipeline development

Hands-on experience with sfcc-ci CLI, cartridge-based deployments, and Business Manager configuration

Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)

Solid understanding of Git branching strategies and release management workflows

Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools and incident troubleshooting

Understanding of API security (OAuth 2.0), PCI-DSS considerations, and secure integration patterns

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across both application code and deployment pipelines.
