About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Team Manager to join our growing team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have experience managing a sales team of 5–7 members and a strong track record of achieving sales targets.

Candidates with prior experience in the Insurance/BFSI sector will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and motivate a sales team of 5–7 members.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
- Represent the company effectively with strong knowledge of our products and services.
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions.
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor sales representatives.
- Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance regularly.
- Analyze sales performance data and prepare forecasts.
- Guide team members on effective sales techniques and customer handling.
- Generate new leads and ensure proper follow-up and conversion.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.




- Take ownership of team performance and consistently work toward achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Sales Team Management.
- Proven experience managing a team of 5–7 or more sales professionals.
- Prior experience in the Insurance industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the complete sales process, from lead generation to closing.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-management abilities.
- Ability to motivate and guide team members toward achieving business objectives.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in motivational speaking, coaching, or sales training.
- Proven record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in customer relationship management and lead conversion.
