Job Summary:

The Sales Manager at Map My Crop will drive the sales of AI-powered crop monitoring software solutions, including satellite-based analytics, farm boundary detection, and crop type detection APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural technology, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the agriculture and tech industries. This role drives revenue, expands customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate should

- Identify and reach out to potential clients in the agriculture, agri-tech, and related industries.
- Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
- Conduct cold calling, product presentations, and demos to promote Map My Crop’s software solutions.
- Handle the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure timely follow-up with leads.
- Ensure that sales goals are met or exceeded consistently.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Map My Crop's products and services, particularly around satellite-based crop monitoring and boundary detection.




- Conduct product demonstrations and present technical information in a way that’s easy to understand for potential customers.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the agricultural or technology sectors.
- Experience with B2B sales and knowledge of SaaS sales processes is a plus.
