Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to own outbound prospecting for Freshworks' product suite. You will identify, research, and engage target accounts across global markets (EMEA & APAC), working closely with Sales Managers and Account Executives to build a healthy, qualified pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to generate qualified meetings/opportunities
- Research target accounts and buyer personas to craft personalized, relevant outreach
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) criteria




- Collaborate with Sales Managers and AEs to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach cadences
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly pipeline generation targets
- Use sales engagement and prospecting tools such as Apollo.io, Instantly, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospect and account activity in CRM
- Stay current on Freshworks' product offerings and competitive landscape to speak credibly with prospects

Eligibility Criteria

- 6 months to 1 year of proven experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on experience with prospecting/sales engagement tools (Apollo.io, Instantly, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar)
- Working knowledge of CRM tools
- Comfortable engaging with international prospects across EMEA, APAC.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with outbound cold outreach
- Willingness to work full-time from our Chennai office
