Technical Sales / Pre-Sales Engineer

Experience: 13 years

Education: BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Industry Preference: Material Handling, Process Industry, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Mechanical Equipment, or Project Consulting

About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused Technical Sales / Pre-Sales Engineer to support the sales team by understanding client requirements, recommending suitable engineering solutions, preparing technical proposals, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand product features, technical specifications, applications, and benefits.
- Work with the sales team to understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Provide technical support during sales meetings and customer discussions.
- Prepare technical proposals, specifications, quotations, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors,



and emerging technologies.
- Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training.
- Participate in client meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Contribute to sales strategies and identify opportunities for business growth.

Requirements
- 13 years of experience in sales of mechanical engineering equipment.
- BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
- Experience in the Material Handling industry will be preferred.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and technical products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-handling abilities.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
- Candidates from process industries, chemicals, pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing, mechanical equipment, or project consulting will be preferred.
