Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment across construction and interior fit-out project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor site safety procedures, policies, and EHS standards.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify potential hazards at project sites.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers and staff.
- Conduct safety induction programs and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, permits, and incident records.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.




- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and client safety requirements.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, fire safety measures, and first-aid arrangements.
- Monitor work permits for activities such as hot work, work at height, electrical work, and confined space work.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and contractors regarding safety-related matters.
- Conduct periodic audits and submit safety reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related field.
- Certification in Safety Management (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ADIS, or equivalent preferred).
- Good knowledge of construction and interior fit-out safety standards.
- Familiarity with statutory safety regulations and permit systems.
- Strong communication, reporting, and training skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in interior fit-out projects, commercial buildings, corporate offices, retail spaces, signage installation, or construction projects will be an added advantage.
