Role Description This is a full-time Revenue Accountant role based in Hyderabad, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

The Revenue

Accountant will handle day-to-day revenue accounting activities, including recording and reviewing revenue transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate revenue schedules. The role involves applying appropriate revenue recognition principles, managing accruals, reconciling accounts, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

The Revenue

Accountant will collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to validate contract terms, ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards,



and assist in preparing revenue-related financial statements and reports. The role may also support audits, process improvements, and implementation of finance technology tools used for revenue management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data for revenue-related decision-making.
- Candidates should possess expertise in revenue recognition, including applying relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with journal entries (accounting), accruals, and general ledger processes.
- Candidates should possess the ability to prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements and revenue reports.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including spreadsheets, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS, or US GAAP) and experience in technology or services industries is beneficial.
