The Research & Intelligence team serves as the organization's intellectual core—developing original research, producing strategic intelligence, supporting client engagements, and building institutional knowledge that strengthens every function across the company.

About the RoleWe are looking for a curious, analytical, and highly motivated research & intelligence analyst to join our growing knowledge, research & intelligence function.

This is not a traditional research role.

You will help build Commcorde's institutional knowledge by producing high-quality research, contributing to strategic investigations, supporting client engagements, and developing thought leadership across areas including technology, geopolitics, public policy, markets, media, reputation, and emerging risks.

You will work closely with leadership, strategy, product, and client teams to transform research into actionable intelligence.

Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & Intelligence● Conduct qualitative and quantitative research across political, economic, technological, security, business, and social issues.

● Produce analytical reports, intelligence briefs, background papers, and strategic assessments.

● Monitor emerging geopolitical, market, regulatory, and reputational developments.

● Conduct stakeholder mapping, competitor analysis, and ecosystem research.

● Develop country, sector, and policy profiles.

Client Support● Support live client engagements through evidence-based research.

● Prepare briefing notes for senior leadership and clients.





● Assist in proposal development and strategic presentations.

● Support crisis response and reputation management assignments through rapid research and intelligence gathering.

Thought Leadership● Contribute to original research publications, white papers, market outlooks, and intelligence reports.

● Identify emerging trends that can become future research publications.

● Support the publication of non-client research that enhances Commcorde's credibility and market positioning.

Knowledge Management● Build and maintain internal research repositories.

● Organise source libraries, datasets, methodologies, and analytical frameworks.

● Ensure research outputs are archived and reusable across future engagements.

● Contribute to the development of research standards and editorial guidelines.

Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with:

● Strategy & Execution

● Product (VeriDeck)

● Business Development

● Leadership

● Strategic Communications to ensure research informs organisational decision-making and supports multiple business functions.

What We're Looking ForWe are interested in candidates who enjoy asking difficult questions, analysing complex issues, and transforming information into meaningful insight.

You should be comfortable working across multiple domains while maintaining high standards of analytical rigour and written communication.

Essential Requirements● 2–3 years of professional experience in research, journalism, strategic communications, public policy, consulting, intelligence, or international affairs.





● Bachelor's degree in Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, Strategic Communications, Public Policy, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.

● Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

● Outstanding written English with the ability to produce concise analytical reports.

● Strong desk research and information synthesis capabilities.

● Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

● High attention to detail and solid editorial judgement.

Desirable Skills● Experience conducting OSINT research.

● Familiarity with media monitoring and social listening platforms.

● Understanding of Indian politics, public policy, international affairs, or technology policy.

● Experience with AI tools for research productivity.

● Data visualisation or presentation development skills.

● Experience working with consulting firms, think tanks, research organisations, media houses, or public affairs agencies.
