Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Rebar Detailer role based in Madurai.

The Rebar

Detailer will prepare accurate rebar shop drawings from architectural and structural design documents, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting drawings, coordinating with engineers and project teams, and detailing steel structures and reinforcement layouts for concrete elements.



The role involves checking dimensions, bar schedules, and connections, resolving drawing discrepancies, and updating documents as designs evolve.

The Rebar

Detailer will also support quality control of detailing outputs, assist with project timelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of detailing processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to produce and interpret shop drawings and architectural drawings with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in steel detailing and rebar detailing for concrete and steel structures.
- Strong understanding of steel structures, reinforcement layouts, and construction standards.
- Experience with CAD/BIM software and relevant detailing tools.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in rebar or structural detailing in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
