We are looking for a qualified and experienced Radiology Typist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately typing and preparing radiology reports from dictated or handwritten notes, maintaining patient records, and supporting the radiology department in ensuring timely and error-free documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately type radiology reports from dictated, handwritten, or recorded notes.
- Prepare and format radiology reports accurately and professionally.
- Ensure timely completion and delivery of radiology reports.
- Maintain accuracy and minimize errors in medical reports and documentation.
- Handle patient medical records and radiology-related documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure data security.
- Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare staff when required.
- Review typed reports for spelling, formatting, and transcription errors.
- Maintain and organize radiology records and reports.
- Support the radiology department with documentation and administrative activities.
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and medical documentation standards.

Eligibility & Skills
- Any Degree is mandatory.
- 12 years of experience as a Radiology Typist in a medical or hospital environment preferred.
- Relevant experience in medical typing / radiology report typing is mandatory.
- Experience working with radiologists, radiology departments, or diagnostic centers will be preferred.
- Positive knowledge of medical terminology,



especially radiology terminology.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Good English spelling, grammar, and sentence formation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare environment.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with prior experience as a Radiology Typist in hospitals, diagnostic centers, medical imaging centers, or other healthcare organizations will be preferred. Candidates should have good knowledge of medical terminology and experience in accurately typing radiology reports.
