QpiAI Quantum hardware team is responsible for designing and characterization of Quantum Processor, Cryogenic Quantum Control Circuits, RF Control Hardware and QpiAI ASGP.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated quantum physicist to join our cutting-edge research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantum measurements, electrical engineering, and materials science, with a particular focus on the characterization of quantum devices. This role involves the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments to characterize the performance of superconducting quantum devices, such as qubits.

Requirements

- MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology.
- Experience with designing and implementing experimental setups and performing quantum measurements using qubits.




- Develop and implement experimental protocols for measuring device parameters such as coherence times, gate fidelities, and quantum state and process tomography.
- A strong skill set, including cryogenic systems and microwave electronics for superconducting qubit device characterization, is a plus
- Robust understanding of circuit QED
- Knowledge of error-correction schemes, preferably in superconducting qubits, is a plus.
- Proven track records of successful projects involving superconducting materials and devices.
- Maintain and optimize cryogenic experimental apparatus to ensure reliable and accurate measurements.
- Experience with data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conference presentations in the field of quantum technology are a plus.
- Experience in design experiments and writing analysis reports
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Should be a valuable team player
