Role Description The Quality Inspector role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot.
The Quality
Inspector will perform daily inspections of agricultural equipment and tractor implements at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities include measuring and testing components, documenting inspection results, identifying defects or non-conformities, and coordinating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues. The role involves maintaining inspection records,
supporting root cause analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.
The Quality
Inspector will also help ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company quality policies while supporting audits and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection to evaluate components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to support standardized processes and continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably in agricultural equipment or heavy machinery, is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, etc.), and follow standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of safety practices and basic familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards is beneficial.
