Role Description The Quality Control Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Sangli-Miraj and Kupwad. This role oversees all quality control activities, including inspection of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.

The individual will develop and implement quality procedures, maintain documentation, and coordinate testing protocols with production and engineering teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include investigating nonconformities, leading root cause analysis, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and monitoring key quality metrics.

The Quality Control





Manager will also train team members on quality standards, prepare reports for management, and support audits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of quality management principles, including quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation control.
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and process improvement methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, or Lean.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competence in using quality control tools and measurement instruments, and working with data for tracking quality metrics and trends.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment in a quality-focused role; prior supervisory or team-leading experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Sangli-Miraj and Kupwad, manage multiple priorities, and uphold safety and compliance standards.
