We are looking for a Quality Analyst who is passionate about software quality, automation, and emerging technologies, with strong hands-on experience in automation testing and testing AI/ML-powered applications.

This role is ideal for someone who can go beyond traditional functional testing, build reliable automation frameworks, identify complex quality issues, and understand the unique challenges involved in validating AI/ML-based systems.

Job Summary

As a Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of Klaimify's web applications, APIs, enterprise products, and AI/ML-powered solutions.

The candidate should have strong practical experience in manual and automation testing, with the ability to design and maintain automated test suites. Experience in testing AI/ML applications, AI-driven workflows, APIs, data pipelines, model outputs, and LLM/GenAI-based features will be highly preferred.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities1. Functional & Manual Testing

- Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using appropriate defect management tools.
- Perform root-cause-oriented analysis of defects and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across application features and business workflows.
- Validate fixes and conduct regression testing before releases.

1. Automation Testing

- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and test suites.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.
- Identify suitable test cases for automation and continuously improve automation coverage.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain reusable test components, utilities, and automation libraries.
- Analyze automation failures and distinguish between application defects, test-script failures, and environmental issues.

1. API & Backend Testing

- Perform API testing for RESTful and/or other application interfaces.
- Validate request/response structures, status codes, authentication, authorization, business rules, and error handling.
- Perform data validation between front-end, APIs, databases, and backend services.
- Use tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or equivalent for API testing.
- Write automated API tests wherever applicable.

1. AI/ML & GenAI Application Testing

- Test applications incorporating AI/ML models, predictive algorithms, NLP, recommendation systems, document intelligence, or Generative AI.
- Validate AI/ML outputs against expected business rules, datasets,



and acceptance criteria.
- Design test scenarios for accuracy, consistency, reliability, robustness, and edge cases in AI-powered features.
- Test AI systems for unexpected, inconsistent, incomplete, or misleading outputs.
- Validate prompt-based workflows and LLM/GenAI features where applicable.
- Perform regression testing of AI/ML features when models, prompts, datasets, configurations, or underlying services change.
- Understand and test factors such as model response variability, hallucination, bias, prompt sensitivity, and response quality.
- Collaborate with developers/data scientists to investigate issues related to model behaviour and application logic.
- Develop appropriate test datasets and test scenarios for AI-driven workflows.

1. Database & Data Validation

- Perform basic to intermediate database testing and data validation.
- Write SQL queries to validate application data and backend processes.
- Verify data integrity across application layers and integrated systems.
- Validate data transformations used by AI/ML and analytics workflows.

1. Performance & Reliability Testing

- Identify performance-related issues and bottlenecks during testing.
- Conduct basic performance, load, stress, and reliability testing where required.
- Validate application behaviour under different workloads and concurrent-user scenarios.

1. CI/CD & Quality Engineering

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with development teams to establish quality gates and automated regression checks.
- Contribute towards improving the overall QA process and test automation maturity.
- Support release validation and production deployment verification.

Must-Have Experience & Skills The candidate must possess:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance / Quality Analysis.
- Strong practical experience in automation testing.
- Good experience in testing web-based applications and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework/tool such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, test scripts, assertions, test data, and automation best practices.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, authentication, and API integrations.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Robust understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and test design techniques.

AI/ML Testing – Preferred Experience Candidates with hands-on exposure to any of the following will be strongly preferred:
- Testing AI/ML-powered applications.




- Testing Generative AI / LLM-based applications.
- Testing AI-powered chatbots, document processing, OCR, NLP, recommendation, prediction, or classification systems.
- Validating model outputs against expected results or business rules.
- Testing prompt-based AI workflows.
- Understanding of AI model accuracy, precision, recall, false positives, false negatives, and model consistency.
- Experience working with AI/ML teams, data scientists, or AI engineers.
- Familiarity with Python-based testing or automation will be an advantage.
- Exposure to AI testing/evaluation frameworks or methodologies will be an added advantage.

Good to Have
- Python programming/scripting knowledge.
- Experience with PyTest, Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
- Experience testing microservices-based applications.
- Exposure to Docker and cloud environments.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Agile development tools such as Jira.
- Exposure to enterprise applications, ERP, FinTech, Education Technology, Government applications, or other complex business systems.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant QA/testing certifications will be an advantage but are not mandatory.
