Job Title: QA Manual Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Test Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, validating application functionality, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing scope.
- Prepare Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Execution Reports.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
- Execute manual test cases across web and/or mobile applications.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Perform defect retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other QA team members.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a testing perspective.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain testing documentation.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing where applicable.




- Analyze test results and provide clear status reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support production validation and troubleshoot issues reported by end users.
- Continuously improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality.

Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing / QA.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases.
- Strong experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, ALM, or similar.
- Valuable understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and testing methodologies.
- Basic understanding of SQL/database testing is preferred.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
