Role Description This is a full-time, remote QA Automation Engineer role on a 2-month contract. The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistent quality across multiple technology stacks. Day-to-day tasks include creating and executing test plans and test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with developers to identify, document, and resolve defects.

The role also involves refining test frameworks, improving test coverage, and contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.



The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold testing standards, support releases, and provide clear reporting on product quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with experience validating complex web and mobile applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in designing and executing Test Cases, along with expertise in Manual Testing for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Candidates should possess QA Automation skills, including building and maintaining automated test suites and working with test frameworks and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with testing APIs, databases, and front-end interfaces, as well as familiarity with common bug tracking and test management tools.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience testing applications built on modern stacks (e.g., MEAN/MERN/MEVN, Java, SQL/NoSQL) is a plus.
