About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. This role requires a strategic thinker with a minimum of five years of hands-on software development experience, particularly in Python, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing system performance, and maintaining high standards of technical excellence.

This position involves mentoring and leading a team of developers, collaborating with stakeholders to design scalable solutions, and supporting deployment and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of AI Large Language Models, DevSecOps, and cloud infrastructure, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,



or a related field. They should have at least five years of professional experience in Python development, with proven leadership capabilities in mentoring and guiding development teams. A thorough understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering best practices is essential.

Experience with Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, along with microservices architecture, is required. Familiarity with AI LLMs, including API-driven models like OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source models such as DeepSeek and Llama, is highly desirable. The candidate must have a strong background in performance profiling, code optimization, and debugging, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and resource utilization.

Additionally, experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

As an Associate Technical Lead, your responsibilities will include overseeing and enforcing SDLC best practices, ensuring thorough documentation, and maintaining development workflows. You will mentor and lead a team of three or more developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting their professional growth. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including the Technical Lead and Manager, you will finalize design documents encompassing wireframes, database schemas, and pseudocode.

Designing and maintaining scalable application architectures, including microservices,



cloud infrastructure, and Docker deployments, will be a core part of your role. You will optimize code for performance, security, and maintainability, ensuring high-quality standards across all deliverables. Conducting rigorous code reviews and supporting CI/CD, DevSecOps, and security compliance will be essential to facilitate seamless deployment processes.

Managing technical debt, executing proof-of-concept projects using open-source frameworks, and ensuring production systems are monitored for scalability and resource efficiency will also fall under your purview.
