Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for residential real estate projects. The role involves sourcing materials, vendor management, price negotiation, purchase orders, and ensuring timely availability of materials at project sites while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of construction and project-related materials.
- Source and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare rates, and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate with project, stores, accounts, and management teams for purchase requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites.
- Monitor material quality, quantity, and specifications as per requirements.
- Maintain vendor database, quotations, purchase records, and documentation.
- Track pending orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and contractors.




- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Resolve issues related to material shortages, quality, delivery, and vendor payments in coordination with relevant departments.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies and approval processes.
- Prepare regular purchase reports and MIS for management.

Key Skills

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of construction and building materials.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to compare quotations and analyse commercial terms.
- Good follow-up and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/purchase management software will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- 4+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in the Real Estate or Construction industry.
- Experience in residential projects will be preferred.
- Should have good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and market rates.
- Should be capable of handling multiple project requirements independently.
