Role Description The Purchase Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sonipat. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities for oilfield equipment and related components, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and negotiating terms to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and tracking purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with production, logistics, and finance teams, and ensuring materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.

The Purchase

Engineer will analyze purchase data, identify cost-saving opportunities,



maintain vendor relationships, and support compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The role also involves continuous improvement of purchasing processes and contributing to operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle end-to-end procurement operations.
- Experience in Purchase Planning and managing Purchase Orders to align material availability with project and production needs.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate quotations, assess vendor performance, and identify cost and process improvements.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software, basic contract terms, and vendor management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience in oil and gas, heavy equipment, or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work on-site in Sonipat, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
