Junior Proposal Writer

Title: Junior Proposal Writer US Federal Market/

Key Responsibilities

Draft assigned proposal sections (technical approach inputs, management plans, staffing narratives, resumes, past performance write-ups) under senior guidance

Analyze RFP/RFQ/RFI documents and build compliance matrices

Tailor staff resumes and past performance citations to solicitation requirements

Edit and proofread for clarity, grammar, consistency, and one-voice tone; enforce style guides





Format documents in Word and PowerPoint to meet solicitation requirements (page limits, fonts, margins) and produce clean, submission-ready files

Support color team reviews, consolidate comments, track recovery actions, and update drafts

Maintain proposal content libraries, boilerplate, and reusable assets

Assist with data calls to teaming partners and subject matter experts, and track deliverables against the proposal calendar

Support responses to Sources Sought notices, RFIs, and capability statements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field

1+ year of experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or professional writing/editing (federal proposal exposure strongly preferred; internships count)

Excellent written English with solid grammar, editing, and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, templates, TOC) and PowerPoint; comfortable with SharePoint/Teams collaboration

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, including occasional surge hours near submissions
