Role Description The Project Manager role at RK Interiors Pvt Ltd is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Project

Manager will oversee turnkey Civil, Interiors, and MEP fit-out projects from planning through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget targets are met. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers; monitoring site progress; conducting inspections; and managing logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves preparing and updating project plans, tracking milestones, resolving issues, and reporting status to internal leadership and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee all civil construction activities for the data center project.




- Lead the civil engineering team, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Review and approve civil drawings, designs, specifications, BOQs, and method statements.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate civil works with structural, MEP, electrical, HVAC, and other project teams.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and construction schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, site challenges, and construction delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper quality control.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, and contractors.
- Manage project documentation, reports, RFIs, inspections, and approvals.
- Ensure civil works are completed within the approved budget and timeline.
- Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover of the facility.

Required Qualifications &

Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in civil construction and project management.
- Strong experience in data center turnkey fit-out projects is highly preferred.
- Experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, finishing, and fit-out activities.
- Good understanding of coordination with MEP and other building services.
- Experience in contractor and subcontractor management.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, construction methodologies, and project documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver projects under tight timelines.
