Key Responsibilities -

Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of mechanical and multidisciplinary projects.

Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project milestones.

Manage mechanical engineering activities, including design review, technical specifications, equipment selection, and engineering coordination.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Review and approve engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submittals, and vendor documents.

Manage contractor and vendor performance, including scope, schedule, quality, cost, and compliance.

Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.

Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve technical and execution-related issues.

Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports, dashboards, and management updates.

Coordinate procurement, installation, commissioning, testing, and handover activities.

Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, quality procedures, and client specifications.

Support tendering, contractor selection, technical evaluation, estimation, and commercial coordination as required.

Manage project changes, variations, claims, and scope-related issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Drive timely project completion while maintaining quality, cost, safety, and client satisfaction.

Mentor and guide project engineers and other team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; postgraduate qualification in project management or a related discipline will be an advantage.





10–15+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and project management.

Strong experience in project planning, execution management, engineering coordination, and project delivery.

Proven experience managing contractors, vendors, consultants, and multiple project stakeholders.

Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage / manufacturing / process industry projects is preferred.

Experience working with a consultancy, PMC, EPC, or project management organization is highly desirable.

Positive understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, utilities, installation, commissioning, and industrial project execution.

Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, risk management, quality management, and documentation.

Proficiency in project management and planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent is preferred.
