Hiring: Project Head on Fire Hydrant

Sudharshan Electromech Services is looking for skilled and hardworkingFire Hydrant for industrial Fire project work. Candidates should have practical knowledge of Fire Hydrant installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at industrial sites.

Responsibilities

Project Planning

- Study project drawings, specifications, BOQ, contracts, and scope of work.
- Prepare the overall project execution plan and schedule.
- Identify manpower, materials, machinery, tools, and subcontractor requirements.
- Establish project milestones and deadlines.

Technical Review

- Review fire hydrant, fire-fighting, pump-room, piping, valve, sprinkler, and related drawings.
- Coordinate with design/engineering teams for technical clarifications.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable fire-safety requirements and project specifications.
- Identify design clashes and resolve them before execution.

Material & Procurement Coordination

- Prepare material requirements according to project schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams.
- Verify technical specifications of pipes, valves, pumps, hydrants, fittings, fire-fighting equipment, etc.
- Ensure materials are available at site as per the construction program.

Site Execution

- Lead and supervise installation of fire hydrant and fire-fighting systems.
- Monitor piping installation, supports, valves, hydrant points, pump rooms, tanks, pressure systems, and associated equipment.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, and other project activities.
- Eligibility / Qualification

Educational Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E.



/ B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Fire Engineering, or related field.
- Fire & Safety qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- Minimum 4–15 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in fire hydrant, fire-fighting, sprinkler, fire pump, and fire protection system projects.
- At least 3–5 years in a project-management / project-leadership role preferred.
- Experience handling commercial, industrial, residential, infrastructure, or large-scale projects preferred.

- Fire hydrant and fire-fighting system installation
- Fire pumps and pump-room systems
- Fire-water piping
- Hydrant valves and accessories
- Sprinkler systems
- Pressure testing and commissioning
- Reading MEP/fire-fighting drawings
- BOQ and quantity estimation
- Project planning and scheduling
- AutoCAD knowledge
- MS Excel / MS Project or similar project-management software
- Knowledge of applicable fire-safety standards and local authority requirements
