We are looking Project Engineer with 4–5 years of experience, especially for residential apartment construction, I would keep the role focused on site execution, quality, planning, labour, materials, contractors, and reporting etc.,

Project Engineer – Civil | 4–5 Years

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

4–5 years of relevant experience in residential building/apartment construction.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Site Execution

Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.

Monitor RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, blockwork, plastering, flooring, waterproofing and finishing activities.

- Planning & Progress

Prepare daily and weekly work plans. Monitor project progress against the schedule.

Identify delays and take corrective action to maintain project timelines.

Coordinate manpower and resources according to work requirements.

- Quality Control

Check line, level, alignment, dimensions and workmanship. Ensure construction quality as per approved specifications.

Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.

Coordinate with QA/QC, architects and structural consultants where required.

- Contractor & Labour Management

Supervise contractors, subcontractors, masons and other workmen. Allocate work and monitor productivity.

Resolve day-to-day site and labour-related issues.

Ensure proper coordination between different agencies.

- Material Management

Prepare advance material requirements for the site. Coordinate with the Purchase team for timely material availability.





Monitor material consumption and minimise wastage.

Check materials received at site against requirements.

- Measurements & Billing

Verify work measurements at site. Check subcontractor bills against actual executed quantities.

Maintain proper measurement and work-completion records.

- Drawings & Coordination

Read and understand structural and architectural drawings. Ensure the latest approved drawings are being followed at site.

Coordinate with architects, consultants and other departments for technical clarifications.

Ensure drawing revisions are properly communicated to the site team.

- Documentation & Reporting

To make sure Site Engineers -Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR/DLR), labour reports and site records. Submit daily/weekly progress updates to the Project Manager/Management.

To Make sure @ Site -Maintain records of material inward, work progress, measurements and inspections.

- Safety

Ensure workers and contractors follow site safety procedures. Identify unsafe practices and take corrective action.

Coordinate with the safety team for site compliance.

- Finishing & Handover

Supervise finishing works and snag rectification. Coordinate pending works before apartment handover.

Ensure the project is completed with required quality and within the planned timeline.
