Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Academics

- Teach undergraduates in ophthalmology theory and clinical skills.

- Contribute to curriculum development and academic scheduling.

- Assist in evaluation, assessments, and OSCEs.

1. Clinical Practice

- Conduct outpatient consultations and perform routine and complex surgeries.

- Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical protocols

- Supervise residents and interns in clinical care.

- Participate in hospital rounds and clinical audits.

1. Research

- Initiate or support departmental research projects.

- Publish scholarly articles in national/international journals.

- Guide residents in thesis and projects.

1. Administrative Tasks

- Assist in organizing CMEs, workshops, and conferences.

- Maintain academic records and ensure compliance with medical council standards.

Qualifications:

- MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology.

- Minimum 5 -10 years teaching and clinical experience (5 years as Associate Professor for Professor).

- At least 2-5 publications in indexed journals (as per NMC/MCI norms).
