Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer with 1+ year of experience in CT, PT and Transformer manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production targets and delivery schedules.
- Supervise shop-floor activities related to CT/PT and transformer manufacturing and assembly.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, work instructions and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Stores, Purchase, Engineering and Testing departments.
- Monitor manpower, machines, materials and production capacity.
- Ensure proper availability of raw materials, components, insulation materials, winding materials and bought-out items.
- Monitor processes such as core assembly, winding, insulation, coil assembly, lead connection, assembly and final preparation as applicable to the product.
- Check production parameters and ensure proper process control.
- Identify production bottlenecks, delays, defects and rework, and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the Quality department to resolve NCRs, process deviations and customer-related quality issues.
- Maintain daily production reports, rejection/rework reports, material consumption records and other production documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished products.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures and company quality systems on the shop floor.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity,



quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Monitor machine utilization and minimize downtime.
- Train and guide operators/workers regarding manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Assist in FAT/customer inspection and final testing activities when required.

CT/PT & Transformer Process Knowledge The candidate should preferably have basic knowledge of:
- Current Transformer (CT) manufacturing
- Potential Transformer (PT) manufacturing
- Distribution/Power Transformer manufacturing
- Core cutting and core assembly
- Coil/winding processes
- Insulation and insulation assembly
- Lead connection and terminal arrangement
- Active-part assembly
- Transformer tank and accessory assembly
- Vacuum/oven/drying processes, where applicable
- Oil filling and filtration, where applicable
- Routine and type testing basics
- CT/PT ratio, polarity and insulation-testing concepts

Required Skills
- Valuable knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturing drawings.
- Basic knowledge of CT/PT and transformer construction and manufacturing processes.
- Good production planning and shop-floor management skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and basic problem-solving techniques is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and team-management abilities.

Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CT/PT, transformer or electrical equipment manufacturing preferred.
- Candidates with experience in production, assembly, testing or shop-floor operations in the transformer industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
