About the Role

Thermostat & Controls is looking for a Production Engineer / Supervisor to manage and monitor day-to-day production activities and ensure that products are manufactured as per required quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the required timelines.
- Monitor manpower allocation and work distribution on the shop floor.
- Ensure production processes are followed as per work instructions and SOPs.
- Check the quality of components and finished products during production.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance teams.
- Identify production issues and take corrective action to minimize rejection and downtime.
- Maintain daily production records, rejection reports, and other production documentation.
- Monitor machine and equipment performance and report maintenance requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and availability of raw materials and components.
- Implement 5S and maintain cleanliness and discipline on the shop floor.
- Monitor rework, rejection, and material wastage and work towards reducing them.
- Assist in process improvement and productivity improvement activities.
- Train and guide operators/workers regarding production processes and quality requirements.




- Ensure safety procedures are followed during production activities.
- Prepare daily production reports and provide updates to management.

Candidate Profile
- Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in production/manufacturing preferred.
- Freshers with a strong interest in manufacturing and willingness to learn may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production control.
- Good understanding of quality and inspection practices.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage shop-floor activities and coordinate with workers.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
