Ottermap is an innovative B2B SaaS company providing property mapping solutions to industries like landscaping, facilities services, and paving. We help businesses reduce costs with our automated mapping platform. As a bootstrapped startup, we're looking for motivated individuals to join our growth journey.

We’re looking for a Product QA & Operations Associate to join our team and take ownership of product testing, issue tracking, and day-to-day coordination between product, development, and operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys finding problems, understanding how products should work, and making sure things actually get done.

What you’ll do

- Test new features, releases, integrations, and existing product workflows
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs and product issues
- Create, manage, and assign development tickets to the relevant team members
- Follow up on tickets and ensure issues are resolved and properly tested
- Perform regression testing before product releases
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Monitor the overall product and identify areas that need improvement
- Help manage product priorities and communicate progress across teams
- Test APIs, integrations, and third-party services where required
- Maintain explicit documentation of bugs, test cases, workflows, and product requirements




- Work closely with the founders and product/technology team to continuously improve Ottermap

What we’re looking for

- 1-3 years of experience in QA, Product Operations, Product Support, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing and QA processes
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Linear, Trello, ClickUp, or similar ticketing/project management platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases
- Good understanding of web applications and SaaS products
- Ability to communicate clearly with developers and non-technical team members
- Strong ownership and follow-through — you don’t just report an issue, you make sure it gets resolved
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment

Good to have

- Experience working with B2B SaaS products
- Basic understanding of APIs and integrations
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools
- Experience with automation/AI products
- Basic SQL or database knowledge
- Experience working in an early-stage startup
