Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Lead the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management functions
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the vendor base.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service agreements to achieve maximum commercial advantage.
- Manage annual procurement budgets and drive cost reduction initiatives across all categories.
- Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with Project, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory requirements, and quality standards.
- Handle procurement planning, inventory optimization, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Resolve supplier disputes, commercial issues, and supply chain bottlenecks.
- Track market trends, commodity prices, and industry developments to support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Prepare and present procurement MIS reports, cost-saving reports, and management dashboards.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- 8 to 12 years of experience in Procurement/ purchase within engineering, construction Equipment’s, Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment, or Infrastructure Equipment.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract management, supply chain operations, Raw Materials, Machinery, tools, PPE, Consumables, etc.
- Proven experience in handling high-value procurement.
- Sound understanding of taxation, invoicing, logistics, and commercial terms.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement processes.

Education

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
- MBA in Supply Chain Management / Operations Management will be an added advantage.
