We're looking for a Principal AI Engineer (Agentic Systems) to join our core technology team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the foundation of Pull Logic's enterprise-grade Retail Tech products and work on solutions that have a direct impact on how modern retailers operate.

What You'll Do

- Lead the architecture, design, and technical roadmap of Pull Logic's AI Initiatives.
- Build a scalable conversational + agent-based AI platform using GCP, Gemini, LangChain, LangGraph, and other technologies.
- Design multi-agent orchestration, safety guardrails, fallback strategies, and governance frameworks.
- Convert prototypes into robust, secure, production-ready enterprise AI products.
- Establish engineering best practices: reviews, testing discipline, release management, observability.
- Own AI reliability, latency, cost optimization, and performance.
- Define evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety, hallucination control, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor a growing AI engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with Product Manager, CTO, and Customer Engineering teams.
- Ensure alignment with SOC2 and enterprise security expectations.

What We're Looking For

- 8–15 years total engineering experience.




- Minimum 3–5 years in Applied AI / ML / AI Platform Engineering.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or acting as a principal / technical lead.
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying production multi-agent AI systems (not just POCs).
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying multi-agent AI systems, including agent orchestration, planning, tool usage, and inter-agent communication patterns.
- Strong understanding of Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows, enabling seamless collaboration between AI agents and business users for review, approval, and decision-making.
- Experience building and leveraging Knowledge Graphs for contextual reasoning, entity relationships, semantic search, and enterprise intelligence applications.
- Expertise in developing event-driven AI architectures, including real-time decisioning, streaming data pipelines, workflow automation, and asynchronous agent execution.
- Experience with LLM observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks such as Langfuse, LangSmith, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools for tracing, debugging, performance monitoring, and production AI governance.
- Experience implementing evaluation frameworks for agentic systems, including trajectory evaluation, tool-use accuracy,



reasoning quality, task completion rates, and business outcome measurement.
- Strong hands-on expertise with: LLMs / RAG / Conversational AI, agent frameworks (LangChain / LangGraph preferred), Python-based engineering, cloud AI platforms (strong preference for GCP), vector databases / knowledge retrieval, LLM optimization techniques (prompt engineering at scale, fine-tuning, adapters, distillation) with familiarity with Vertex AI, and cost, latency, and performance optimization for LLM-based systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering rigor, stability, and scale.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI tool ecosystems.
- Experience with multi-modal AI systems.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, or Analytics products (preferred).
- Experience building AI platforms in SaaS environments (good to have).
- Familiar with enterprise governance, compliance, SOC2 expectations (good to have).
- Experience working in startup or fast-moving innovation teams (valuable to have).
