Investigation of electromagnetic emissions from cables or other lines into the mains or other equipment.
Analysis of electromagnetic fields emitted by the device into the environment.
Compliance with limits for interference emissions according to standards (e. g. EN55032, CISPR 11).
Typical tests:
ESD (electrostatic discharge): Protection against electrical discharges.
Burst/EFT test: Resistance to rapid transient interference.
Surge test: Immunity to overvoltages.
RF radiation: Resistance to radiofrequency interference.
Magnetic field immunity: Tolerance to magnetic fields.
