Position: PLC Troubleshooting Engineer Experience: 3–5 Years Location: Chennai Industry: Food & Beverage / Commercial Kitchen Equipment / Manufacturing Notice : Immediate Joiner Job Summary: Looking for a hands-on PLC & Automation Engineer with experience in machine automation, electrical controls and equipment breakdown troubleshooting. The role will involve troubleshooting and maintaining automated food/beverage and commercial kitchen machinery, improving machine reliability and supporting commissioning and installation activities.

Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, relays, contactors and electrical control panels . Diagnose PLC I/O, wiring, communication and machine-sequence-related issues. Troubleshoot motors, pumps, solenoid valves, heaters, temperature controllers and sensors .

Read and interpret electrical drawings, control circuits and PLC I/O diagrams . Handle machine installation, commissioning and breakdown maintenance . Identify root causes of machine failures and minimize equipment downtime.

Support PLC program modifications, parameter changes and automation improvements .



Coordinate with production, maintenance and engineering teams for machine-related issues. Maintain troubleshooting records and recommend preventive/corrective actions.

Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation .

Experience with one or more PLC platforms: Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Allen-Bradley or Omron . Valuable knowledge of HMI, VFD, sensors, electrical panels and control circuits . Knowledge of temperature controllers, motors, pumps, solenoid valves and heaters . Ability to understand PLC logic, I/O mapping and electrical drawings . Knowledge of Modbus, RS485, Ethernet/industrial communication will be an advantage. Strong practical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
