Plant Upkeep Administration Electrical Technician /: Responsibilities/: Frontline Electrical Breakdown Repair/: Replace damaged contactors, relays, fuses, cables, and proximity sensors as soon as shop/-floor electrical failures occur in production machines, assembly lines, conveyors, and utility equipment. Low Tension /(LT/) electrical panels, Motor Control Centers /(MCC/), Power Control Centers /(PCC/), star/-delta/DOL starters, Variable Frequency Drives /(VFDs/), and PLC input/output cards are all wired, laid out, and maintained.

Preventive and Predictive Electrical Maintenance/: Perform insulating resistance /(Megger/) and voltage/current tests, as well as daily and weekly PM checklists on electric motors, transformers, switchgear, earthing lines, and distribution boards.

Motor & Drive Servicing/:



To avoid motor burnouts and overheating, check, maintain and repair AC/DC motors, gearmotors, carbon brushes, bearings, terminal blocks, VFD cooling fans and drive control wire.
