Site Finance Manager
Location: Sri City, Andhra Pradesh | On-site | Full-time | Starts January 2027
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to own the finance function at our Sri City manufacturing site.
The Site Finance
Manager personally executes financial control, cost accounting, statutory compliance, and reporting — this is a standalone role, not a supervisory one. Functional guidance and technical support are available from the Corporate Finance office, but the right person is self-reliant, comfortable moving between the shop floor and the general ledger in the same day, and capable of building robust finance processes in a scaling manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Personally own and execute month-end close, management accounts, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis for site leadership and Corporate Finance
- Build and maintain product costing, standard costs, and cost variance analysis across moulding, assembly, printing, and packing; establish cost centres, machine-hour rates, and scrap and yield tracking for a new facility
- Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation with operations and supply chain; participate in physical stock counts
- Ensure compliance with Indian statutory, tax (GST, TDS), and accounting requirements; manage statutory and internal audits and liaison with auditors and local authorities
- Handle SEZ-specific requirements — customs, duty, documentation, and state incentive claims — in coordination with Corporate Finance and legal
- Track capital expenditure,
maintain the fixed asset register and CWIP, and manage vendor payments, accounts payable/receivable, and working capital at site level
- Design and document site finance processes, approval workflows, and controls; build management reporting and dashboards in Excel where ERP reporting is not yet available
- Act as the single finance point of contact at site for Corporate Finance, group reporting, and external stakeholders
What we're looking for
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost & Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA), or a Commerce/Finance/Accounting graduate with an MBA (Finance)
- 6+ years in finance, with the majority in a manufacturing environment — pharmaceutical, medical device, plastics/injection moulding, or precision engineering strongly preferred
- Demonstrable hands-on plant finance experience — the candidate must have personally run costing, closing, compliance, and payables, not only reviewed others' work
- Strong working knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, Indian statutory/tax requirements, and the statutory audit process
- Hands-on experience with a full-scale ERP or accounting system (Tally, Zoho Books, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP) essential; SAP FI/CO and MM experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel — able to build and maintain models, reconciliations, and reporting packs independently
- Experience supporting a greenfield or scaling manufacturing site preferred
- Qualified proficiency in English required; working proficiency in Telugu required; Tamil and Hindi also useful
