Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

- Develop detailed baseline schedules for Substation and Transmission Line projects using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

- Prepare Level 3 / Level 4 schedules including engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

- Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules where required.

Schedule Monitoring & Control

- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress.

- Update project schedules and generate progress reports and dashboards.

- Identify schedule variances and propose corrective actions or recovery plans.

Coordination

- Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams, procurement, and subcontractors for activity planning.

- Participate in project review meetings and present schedule status.

- Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

Reporting

- Prepare Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) and Monthly Progress Reports (MPR).

- Track milestones, critical path activities, and delays.

- Prepare S-curves, look-ahead schedules (2-week / 3-week), and productivity analysis.

Project Documentation

- Maintain planning documentation including baseline schedules,



revisions, delay registers, and progress records.

- Assist in EOT (Extension of Time) claims and delay analysis.

Risk & Delay Analysis

- Conduct critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.

- Monitor interface issues between Substation and Transmission Line works.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

- Strong knowledge of project scheduling and project controls

- Understanding of power transmission and substation construction activities

- Good analytical and reporting skills

- Solid coordination and communication skills

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools

Preferred Skills

- Experience in 220kV / 400kV Substation and Transmission Line projects

- Knowledge of EPC contract management

- Familiarity with delay analysis techniques (EOT, claim support)
