Role Description The Planning and Billing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kashipur. The position is responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), performing rate analysis, and carrying out quantity surveying for construction and related projects. Daily tasks include coordinating with project teams to collect measurement data, verifying work done at site, and updating billing systems to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
The role involves analyzing project costs, monitoring budgets, and supporting planning activities such as scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting. The engineer will collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain clear documentation.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and project management software; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, contracts, and specifications with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities.
Planning Duties
- Create and update project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
- Monitor daily and weekly work progress against set targets.
- Prepare progress reports, MIS reports, and project dashboards.
- Coordinate resource allocation with site and procurement teams.
Billing Duties
- Measure site work and prepare client RA bills and final bills.
- Verify subcontractor and vendor bills.
- Conduct rate analysis and prepare material reconciliation statements.
- Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and track project variations or extra items.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- Experience: 5 to 12 years of site or office experience in construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, or Primavera P6; familiarity with AutoCAD and ERP billing systems.
- Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of BOQ, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and contract terms.
- Soft Skills: Good communication, numerical accuracy, and cross-functional coordination
