Job Purpose

Khaitan Public School is looking for an accomplished PGT Physics Teacher with strong CBSE teaching experience and proven expertise in JEE Main & Advanced preparation. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering conceptually solid and engaging Physics instruction while preparing students for excellent performance in CBSE Board Examinations and competitive entrance examinations, particularly JEE Main & Advanced.

The role requires solid subject expertise, advanced problem-solving ability, effective classroom delivery, and the capability to mentor high-performing students for competitive examinations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. CBSE Curriculum Delivery

- Plan and deliver Physics lessons for Grades XI & XII in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of the syllabus within prescribed academic timelines.
- Build strong conceptual understanding through demonstrations, experiments, numerical applications, and real-life examples.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations, with a focus on conceptual clarity and high academic achievement.

1. JEE Main & Advanced Preparation

- Provide specialized coaching and academic support for JEE Main & Advanced Physics.
- Teach advanced concepts and develop students' ability to solve HOTS, application-based and complex numerical problems.
- Develop structured preparation plans, practice modules, worksheets, question banks, and revision material for JEE aspirants.
- Conduct regular topic-wise tests, mock examinations and competitive assessments.
- Train students in examination strategy, time management, accuracy, speed, and effective problem-solving techniques.
- Remain updated with the latest JEE examination patterns, question trends and difficulty levels.

1. Assessment & Student Performance





- Design and conduct formative, summative, CBSE-pattern and JEE-pattern assessments.
- Analyse student performance and identify individual learning gaps.
- Develop targeted intervention and improvement plans for students requiring additional support.
- Identify high-potential students and provide advanced academic mentoring to maximize their competitive examination performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and academic performance.

1. Academic Planning & Resource Development

- Develop high-quality lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, revision modules, question banks and assessment resources.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and academic improvement initiatives within the Physics/Science Department.
- Integrate appropriate technology, simulations and digital learning resources into Physics instruction.
- Support Physics practicals and ensure effective integration of laboratory learning with theoretical concepts.

1. Student Mentoring

- Mentor students regarding JEE preparation strategies, academic goals and study planning.
- Build students' confidence and interest in Physics through inquiry-based and problem-solving approaches.
- Provide additional academic support, doubt-clearing sessions and enrichment opportunities as required.

1. School & Department Responsibilities

- Collaborate effectively with the HOD, academic leadership and fellow faculty members.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic reviews, PTMs, examinations and school activities.




- Maintain regular communication regarding student academic progress and interventions.
- Contribute to building a strong STEM and competitive examination culture within the school.

Qualification & Experience
- Master's Degree in Physics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution is preferred/required as per applicable school norms.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably teaching Physics at the Senior Secondary level.
- Strong and demonstrable experience in the CBSE curriculum for Grades XIXII.
- Prior experience in preparing students for JEE Main & Advanced is essential.
- Experience with a reputed CBSE school and/or established JEE coaching institution will be an advantage.
- Proven student outcomes in CBSE Boards/JEE will be strongly preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are particularly looking for a result-oriented Physics educator who can successfully balance CBSE Board preparation with rigorous JEE coaching and has a demonstrated ability to mentor students towards strong academic and competitive examination outcomes.
