Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, well-qualified, and dedicated PGT/TGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging, student-centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective English lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and academic objectives.
- Teach English language, literature, grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, and communication skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, assignments, and other teaching resources.
- Use innovative and interactive teaching methodologies to engage students.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Encourage students to develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical-thinking skills.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic performance, and student progress.
- Conduct periodic tests, examinations, and remedial/enrichment classes as required.
- Integrate technology and digital resources into classroom teaching wherever appropriate.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students’ progress effectively to parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues in academic planning, events, activities, and school initiatives.
- Participate in English-related co-curricular activities such as debates, elocution, creative writing, quizzes, literary events, and public speaking.
- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.





Eligibility & QualificationsFor PGT English
- Master’s degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputed school is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
- Familiarity with the applicable school curriculum/board.

For TGT English
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Relevant teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong command of English grammar, literature, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the applicable school curriculum/board.

Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of English language and pronunciation.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
- Strong lesson-planning and assessment skills.
- Creative and creative approach to teaching.
- Proficiency in using smart-class/digital teaching tools.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to students’ academic and overall development.

Experience TGT: 1–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.

PGT: 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.

Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching aptitude may also be considered, depending on the school’s requirements.
